Certification OHSAS 18001
In September 2011, the sites of Hendaye and Chatou (Bonnet Névé's headquarters) received OHSAS 18001 certification (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series), the international standard for the permanent improvement of occupational health and safety regulations.
This achievement is part of a "safety and environmental program", that is strongly supported by the EPTA group of Companies and that is already under way.
The OHSAS 18001 certification represents the natural evolution of a qualification process that started off with the certification of conformity to the UNI EN ISO 14001 standards that was obtained in 2010 by the Hendaye site and the Chatou headquarters.
The high quality standards met by the Bonnet Névé range of coldrooms have earned the CE Certification, a guarantee of rigorous control over the components and raw materials employed.
Bonnet Névé's refrigerating packs and systems are PED-certified (Pressure Equipment Directive).
The purpose of the PED Directive (97/23/EEC) is to coordinate the national legislations of member States as regards the assessment of the design, construction and testing of pressure equipment/systems and the relevant compliance with the safety standards.
The directive concerns products, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, steam generators, boilers, industrial piping systems, safety devices and pressure accessories.
Bonnet Névé's coldrooms have been awarded the HACCP, Food Safety Programme certification.
This qualification certifies that the products are planned, manufactured and installed in compliance with the assessment standards of the HACCP method (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) applied to all the activities that have direct or indirect repercussions on food safety.
