Familia Supermarket and Epta: a winning combination

The new Familia supermarket of Weyhe-Leeste, in Lower Saxony, finds a valid ally in Epta to enhance regionality. Strategic drivers of Familia are freshness and quality. The offer focuses on zero-mileage foods on which the chain is investing to give space to small companies and start-ups. The stores promote the local economy and producers, for a taste of home, with local products sustainably cultivated and processed.

 

The EptaConcept team merges aesthetics and design to enhance assortment with furnishings branded Bonnet Névé and Eurocryor, to make the purchasing experience unique.

 

Fresh products are the protagonists in a game of contrasts

In detail, the SkyView Plus refrigerator cabinet, with its wide glass doors and panoramic terminal ends, acts as a showcase for the foods on display.

 

The practical and elegant aspect is also highly appreciated: “In particular, I think the black interior of the cabinet of the dairy department is very chic and its height makes it easier to reach each product inside", comments Daniel Ronke, store manager. The LED lighting system makes the contrast of colours even more evident, fully emphasising the products. A further advantage is the ease of maintenance of MultiFresh Plus, thanks to the “maintenance free" condenser.

 

Increased profitability for the frozen area

The star of the frozen department which covers an area of 65 metres features the combo between the vertical SkyLight and the horizontal Cosmos 4 Eco. Both are characterised by excellent energy performance, ensuring optimal visibility, and a touch of elegance which embellishes the space. Cosmos 4 Eco is also enriched by a higher deck, to optimise the sales space available and increase the overall profitability of the area.

 

 

Sushi becomes entertainment

The offer is completed by the sushi corner conceived by the collaboration of Epta with KellyDeli. “The skill of the chef during the live cooking shows makes the corner irresistible, encouraging take-away", states Matthias Tilk, sales planning manager. A dedicated worktop has been designed so that customers can watch the show of processing the raw materials, then displayed in the Country Sushi cabinets of Eurocryor, on tiered open space shelves made in high quality stainless steel.
