EPTA France for the Hyper U of La Chapelle sur Erdre
The French supermarket chain Système U chose Epta France to furnish its new 6000 m² Hyper U hypermarket at La Chapelle sur Erdre, in the Loire region. A fresh challenge for Epta who realised and delivered the solutions in a very short time, ensuring the completion of the installation in less than six months and the opening of the store during the lockdown period.
Harmony and order distinguish the store: in the zone marché Epta France conceived distinctive universes for each category of product, to enhance its characteristics and offer a scenic presentation. A special focus is on local specialities, enhanced thanks to the creation of a narrative route that aims at establishing a closer relationship between producer and consumer. Furthermore, the choice of neutral shades and of natural material finishes, such as wood for the cladding of the cabinets and the grey brick for the walls, give a touch of class to all areas of the Hypermarket.
Epta France, thanks to the vast range of refrigerated cabinets branded Bonnet Névé and Eurocryor, was able to select the best solutions to ensure a workmanlike presentation for each product category, each displayed in the most suitable cabinet. Particularly outstanding are the Poissonnerie, where the Dualio refrigerated cabinets of Bonnet Névé highlight the offer with a display designed to focus the consumer's gaze. The Kaleïdo refrigerated cabinet of Bonnet Névé was proposed in a semi-vertical version with cascade shelves for the best display of the smoked fish processed and packaged in store. Next to it, with a play of heights that rhythms space, the SkyView Plus vertical cabinets of Bonnet Névé show the complementary offer of products of pre-packaged brands. A further example of the ability of Bonnet Névé to realise ad hoc solutions to respond to the specific needs of this store are the areas dedicated to Le Boucher, Le Charcutier and Le Fromager.
To bring the products closer to the consumer's attention, Bonnet Névé offered a personalised model of the Shape Design refrigerated cabinet of Bonnet Névé. The furniture is placed on a step, hidden from the front with a finish in light-coloured wood and, to facilitate further the interaction between consumer and operator, it was designed with a glass of reduced height. The integration with the semi-vertical refrigerated cabinets Twin Midi of Eurocryor, also stands out in the cheese department. Thanks to the cascade shelves and to the possibility of presenting complimentary goods on the case top, they are in the ideal position to improve the visibility of the specialities of local producers, also promoting cross-merchandising.
To finish, for the self-service departments of fresh pre-packaged products the Retailer chose the iconic Skyview Plus, vertical refrigerated cabinets with an exclusive design and high visibility. At the end of the aisles, the Dualio cabinets are noteworthy. They are promotional islands, which, boasting the same width of the head cabinets, ensure visual integration and a better use of space.
